About Me

My name is Itztli Ehecatl and I am the author of the Calmecac Anahuac blog. I am a 12th generation Chicano of Nahua descent on my Dad's side and a 3rd generation Chicano on my Mom's side. My expertise is in Nahua codices and the Mexica/Azteca calendar. I'm in the process of learning Nahuatl as well and am currently at the intermediate level.
