Ometeotl makes up the entirety of the universe.
Our universe is balanced between 13 levels of the heavens, Topan, the
Earth, Tlaticpac or Tlalli, and 9 levels of the underworld, Mictlan.
Mictlan and Topan can be described as the Metaphysical beyond, something
that is not comprehendable by the human mind. Omeyocan : Dwelling place of Ometeotl, the source of all creation. (12th-13th level) "The Metaphysical Beyond ": Dwellng
Place of the manifestations of Ometeotl (6th - 11th level) Dwelling place of Venus (4th level) Dwelling place of Tonatiuh, the sun (3rd level) Dwelling place of the stars (2nd level) Dwelling place of the moon (1st level) The first five levels of Topan are still a part of the physical world. Everything above the sixth level is part of the metaphysical world, where only spirits and forces dwell. Omeyocan is at the edge of our universe and is where the creative force Ometeotl resides.
Mictlan: Land of the Dead Mictlan is made up of nine levels underneath the Earth. Mictlan is the place one goes when they die. Throughout the nine levels, there are obstacles which impede the persons journey. Such obstacles include: Jaguars, Mountains, Vast Rivers, and Icy Winds. Mictlantecuhtli and Mictlancacihuatl are the dual forces that reside over Mictlan. |

Featured Link: "If Brown (vs. Board of Education) was just about letting Black people into a White school, well we don’t care about that anymore. We don’t necessarily want to go to White schools. What we want to do is teach ourselves, teach our children the way we have of teaching. We don’t want to drink from a White water fountain...We don’t need a White water fountain. So the whole issue of segregation and the whole issue of the Civil Rights Movement is all within the box of White culture and White supremacy. We should not still be fighting for what they have. We are not interested in what they have because we have so much more and because the world is so much larger. And ultimately the White way, the American way, the neo liberal, capitalist way of life will eventually lead to our own destruction. And so it isn’t about an argument of joining neo liberalism, it’s about us being able, as human beings, to surpass the barrier." - Marcos Aguilar (Principal, Academia Semillas del Pueblo)
